Profile
Hey there people of the Internet. For those who don’t know me, my name is Ross Fairfield. I am the owner and videographer of Dead Pirate Productions. I am also the co founder of OMGDrift.com which was founded at the stat of this year by myself and Drew Fishebin who Iworked alongside with at everythingdrift.com for the whole of 2009. Dan Cahill approached me about doing a few posts here on driftbloggers and I couldnt resist. I began doing videos in high school, and I started filming drifting in 2005, starting at events such as Just Drift and other grassroots events. I was asked to work with the Super Autobacs drift team in 2008, which was my first year on the professional circuit. After a year with them I went freelance, beginning the 2009 season with team KMR, and picking up other clients along the way, such as E-drift, Taka Aono, Jeff Jones, Mike Essa, Tommy Suell, and finally at Irwindale I was also working with Dean Kearney who had requested my help with him coming over to the states for his first event. My videos have been featured on Everythingdrift.com, Wrecked Magazine, Drifting.com, Fatlace, Deathmachines.net, MotorMavens and Speedhunters.com.

All we know is, he’s called The Ross

I have been watching to much top gear I think. HELLO fans of driftbloggers on the internets!  Let me Introduce myself. I am Ross Fairfield, proud father of Dead Pirate Productions, Co-Founder of OMGDrift.com and creator of videos such as the one below. My apologies for not having a more recent FD video. I am busy gearing up for SEMA and by that I mean I am locked in a room working on videos for people for SEMA. Dan Cahill asked me if I would be interested in posting up some of my stuff here on driftbloggers and I immediately agreed. (Dont forget our deal Dan. Thats 300 pumpkin pies and a cardboard box fortress shipped to america). I will be poppin on here to toss up more of my videos as they come out as well as a sneak peek at some upcoming projects for later in the year! ;)
